Welcome to Texas Spec7
Home of the Texas SRX7 Road Race Series
Hearing all the SRX7 guys are in collectible car acquisition mode. Y'all need to fess up! Lets all go do a Saturday evening cruise-in show.
I'm just moving some of my vast financial instruments into "hard" assets..... Wanted to save it for the October Car show - better win with this or I'll know you guys are too Ferrari biased... Gotta love a big 289 in a Miata sized car. http://www.fantasyjunction.com/cars/842-Sunbeam-Tiger%20Mk.%20IA-289%20c.i.%208-Cylinder A friend's dad had one growing up - got to drive it once, then he sold it to keep us alive....
Gonna be driving my daily driver for a few more years.... Sucks to wait for the trucking companies to get it here. Can I borrow your enclosed trailer?
Appears Buddy talks too much :) Figured I would surprise everyone. Becky is a saint (although she did take her pound of flesh along the way....)
Wow... Now I see what Rob is talking about!
Nice car Mark! Holy crap thats beautiful, good job! So that's what floats your boat...
I just bought a 1974 Porsche 914 wide body with a nice revy RAT 2270 motor :)))) I'ts actually a POS but I'm working on it, looks great but it has issues. It just floated my boat, It's not a show car but a driver.
http://germancarsforsaleblog.com/1974-914-with-rat-2270-motor-for-sale/ I was stupid enough to fly to Indianpolis, pick it up and drive it home, Funny thing happened, I met up with GREG SCOTT in St.Louis Saturday night - go figure!!
Definitely interested in the shirt! Will probably need some parts and advice once I get it here, so appreciate the heads up. Robs event will be an epic battle for first....
Sign me up.
I want to see that Porch and the Tiger.
Mark, I think I have a Sunbeam Alpine original shop manual in my "to ebay" stack.
Seems like I may have something also specific to Tigers hmmm.
